This is our shiny new help desk system, I hope you like it!
We haven't explored all the options yet, so I'm sure things will progress as we get more used to it. The main reasons for moving to this system are:
1) A better knowledge base / FAQ section that is fully searchable and works well. Unfortunately our old one was not very clever and it was sometimes difficult to find what you were looking for.
2) A forum section - yay, finally we can provide an area where customers can discuss things with a without us in a more open manner.
3) A more responsive ticketing system, there was nothing wrong with the old system, but it was very set in its ways. We hope the new system will prove to be more dynamic, for example, the new system allows us to capture help requests from facebook and twitter as well as some other mediums, and although is not a key channel for us, it is something we should support.
