Android MPN VPN Manager update - 5th July 2016

On July 5th 2016 at 0500 GMT, we will be updating the settings on our alternate SSL OpenVPN connections, namely the UDP 1194 and the TCP connections that are available through the Android VPN Manager App.

The update will commence on the 5th of July 2016 at 0500 GMT(0), and if you’ve been using the alternate connections, you will need to update the MPN VPN Manager app on your Android devices in order to continue using them.

NOTE: Our standard OpenVPN (UDP 80), PPTP, L2TP connection on Android are not affected by this change and will continue to work as normal

By default, you should automatically be prompted by Google Play to update when it’s made available, however you can update it manually by clicking on the Google Play Store link below:

If you are on an Android device that does not have Google Play (i.e Amazon Kindle tablets) or if you are having any issues downloading the app from the link above, you can download the APK manually from the link below:

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE THE APP BEFORE 0500GMT ON THE 5TH OF JULY 2016 AS THE UPDATED CONNECTIONS WILL NOT WORK BEFORE THEN.
